The "Banán zimní" variety is a vigorous tree with a spreading, sparse crown. The shoots are brown and pubescent; leaves are large, elliptical. Fruits are round-conical, large, weighing about 150 g, light yellow in color, sometimes with a pink blush. The flesh is juicy, sweet, with a specific flavor. The variety is precocious but prone to scab, and the fruits have delicate skin, which reduces their transportability.

The Belarusian variety "Banánové" was obtained by crossing the varieties "Banán zimní" and "Babuškino". The tree is of medium vigor with a rounded crown. The fruits are sweet and sour, greenish-yellow in color with a blurred blush, with firm and crunchy flesh. The variety is distinguished by high winter hardiness and immunity to scab and other fungal diseases.
