The variety is late-ripening; fruits are harvested in the middle or last ten days of October. The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and is a poor pollinator, prone to alternate bearing, but produces abundant yields in productive years. The plant features high hardiness and suitability for traditional meadow orchards and roadside plantings.

The fruits are medium to large in size and have an ovoid or cylindrical shape. The ground color is green-yellow with possible reddish stripes. At harvest, the flesh is firm, greenish-white, acidic, and almost odorless; during winter storage, the acidity decreases, and the fruits become softer and acquire a pleasant taste.

The variety is traditionally used as an industrial apple for making juices, wine, cider, and compotes. Due to their characteristics, the fruits are less attractive to pick from the tree, which reduces the risk of theft in public places.
