The variety is triploid, forming a very vigorous tree reaching 10 meters in height when grown on its own roots. The crown is prone to thickening and requires regular pruning. The variety is considered a poor pollinator for other apple trees, therefore requiring external pollinator varieties with a similar flowering period.

The fruits are large or very large, of a round, slightly flattened shape with smooth yellowish skin covered with orange-red blush and stripes. The flesh is cream-colored, juicy, and of a crumbly texture. The variety is for universal use, suitable both for fresh consumption and for culinary processing.

The plant has medium resistance to powdery mildew and scab; with age, it may show susceptibility to Nectria canker. It enters the fruiting stage late, yields are average, and it is often characterized by biennial bearing.
