When identified with the Gelber Bellefleur variety, it is a winter variety, the tree of which is characterized by weak to medium vigor. Fruits are medium to large in size, high-barrel-shaped, with characteristic ribbing. The skin is lemon-yellow, sometimes with an orange blush; the flesh is yellowish-white, juicy, with a spicy taste and banana aroma.

When identified with the Gravensteiner variety, it is a summer-autumn variety. Fruits are large, flattened-round, with an uneven surface and noticeable ribs at the calyx. The color is greenish-yellow with carmine-red stripes, the taste is sweet and sour with a floral aroma. The variety is characterized by susceptibility to scab.
