The tree is characterized by very strong growth, reaching 10 meters in height, which necessitates the use of dwarfing rootstocks. The fruits are flat-round, medium to large in size, with a greenish-yellow skin that, upon ripening, acquires a golden-orange hue with a red blush and possible russeting.

The cream-white flesh of the fruits has a crumbly, coarse-grained texture and a nutty, wine-sweet flavor. The variety is classified as late summer or autumn; the fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and culinary use, where they break down into puree during heat treatment.

The variety is a triploid and cannot serve as a pollinator for other apple trees; it is prone to biennial bearing and enters the fruiting stage relatively late. The trees are well adapted to cool and humid climates, possess resistance to scab, and have moderate resistance to powdery mildew.
