The variety is a bud mutation of the Braeburn variety. The tree has moderately vigorous growth and enters fruiting at an early stage. The medium-sized fruits have a round-conical shape and an attractive bright red overcolor.

In terms of aromatic properties and crisp texture, the fruit flesh is similar to the Cripps Pink variety. Ripening times correspond to the parent variety; multi-stage harvesting is recommended due to the gradual coloring of the fruits.

The variety has exceptional storage capacity. Regarding resistance to fungal diseases such as scab and powdery mildew, it exhibits characteristics typical for the Braeburn group of varieties.
