The fruits are small, weighing 85–95 grams, and have an oblong or flattened-spheroidal shape. The skin is very thick, with little wax, yellow-green in color, turning to a red-green shade on the sunny side.

The flesh has a greenish-white color and a dense, almost marble-like texture. The taste is sweet with aroma and slight acidity. The variety has high keeping quality, allowing the fruits to be stored throughout the winter.

Due to the specific thick skin, the apples are rarely consumed fresh. They are mainly used for baking, making jams, desserts, and traditional mustard.
