The fruits have an oblate shape, yellowish-green skin with a pink or orange blush. The flesh of the fruits is very sweet and aromatic.

The variety belongs to the early maturity group, with the harvesting period falling in early to mid-August. In studies, the variety showed reduced susceptibility to the pathogen Erwinia amylovora.

The variety is the result of traditional folk selection and is preserved in regional crop collections. In literature, it is found under the name Camoesa Rosa do Menezes, which may indicate the existence of separate clones or closely related varieties.
