The variety is a hybrid bred in Müncheberg. The tree is characterized by moderate growth, classified as a natural dwarf, which may require careful pruning to stimulate development.
Fruits are small or medium-sized, have yellow skin with a red blush on the sunny side. The flesh is yellowish-white, juicy, fine-grained, firm and crisp. The taste is aromatic, with mild acidity and sweetness. The variety is suitable for fresh consumption; fruits store for up to 5 months.
The variety is less susceptible to diseases compared to «Пепин оранжевый Кокса». «Clivia» was actively used in breeding as a parent form for the creation of the varieties «Pinova», «Rewena» and «Rubinstep».
