The variety is an industrial type used for the production of Asturian cider. According to technological classification, the fruits belong to bitter apples. The fruits are small, with a diameter of 61–65 mm and a height of 58.5 mm, and have a predominantly spherical shape.

Trees are characterized by medium vigor. Flowering occurs in the period from the beginning to the middle of April, and the fruits ripen in the first ten days of October. The variety is characterized by very high productivity, however, it has very high sensitivity to fungal diseases.
