The variety is an autumn one, with fruits ripening from late September to November. The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and low-maintenance cultivation, and it begins to bear abundant yields early. It prefers sunny locations and fertile, well-drained soil, and possesses high winter hardiness.

The fruits have yellow-green skin with red stripes, which are particularly pronounced on the sunny side. The flesh is white, initially firm, and becomes tender and juicy over time. The fruits are used fresh, and their keeping quality is approximately one month.

The variety is a good pollinator for other apple trees. For cross-pollination of the variety itself, suitable cultivars include Alice, Aroma, Summerred, Sävstaholm, and Transparente Blanche.
