The variety is characterized by vigorous growth and a tendency toward some bareness of the branches. It belongs to the group of early-maturing apple varieties.

The plant possesses resistance to scab, due to the Vf genetic factor and a polygenic basis. The fruits are of good quality; the variety is recommended for cultivation in home gardens.
