The variety is a medium-sized tree, 4–5 meters in height, with a broad-rounded or pyramidal compact crown. It belongs to the crabapple group and is characterized by high winter hardiness, drought tolerance, and good resistance to scab, with moderate susceptibility to fire blight.
Fruits weighing 11–30 g have an elongated shape and a deep crimson color with a waxy bloom. The flesh is cream-colored, juicy, and wine-sweet with astringency. The harvest ripens in late August to early September and stores for no more than 2–4 weeks. The variety is used for making jams, jellies, and cider, and is also valued as an ornamental plant due to its abundant flowering.
