The variety is classified as an autumn variety; the harvest matures in the first half of September. In its youth, the tree is characterized by strong growth, forming a spherical or pyramidal crown. The fruits are medium to large in size, round or round-conical in shape, often with pronounced ribbing.
The skin of the fruits is smooth, light yellow in color, sometimes with an orange-red blush. The flesh is creamy white, loose, juicy, with a distinct aroma and sweet-and-sour taste. The fruits have a delicate texture and quickly become mealy after harvesting, which limits their keeping quality and transportability.
The variety is sensitive to scab, powdery mildew, bacterial canker, and certain viral diseases, such as leaf mosaic and witches' broom. In the past, due to its winter hardiness and vigor, it was used as a stem builder.
