The variety is classified as summer or early-autumn; fruits ripen in early to mid-August. Apples are spherical or slightly conical in shape, weighing 120–150 g, and have an intense flame-red overcolor. The flesh is yellowish-white, with a harmonious, sweet-and-sour taste and a refreshing spicy aroma.

The tree is precocious, bearing fruit in the third year after planting with appropriate training methods. The variety is partially self-fertile, therefore cross-pollinator varieties are required to increase yield. Resistant to powdery mildew. Fruits possess good keeping quality for a summer variety, remaining stored in the cold until Christmas.
