The variety was obtained from a seed of open pollination of the variety «Tartu roosõun». The tree is characterized by medium vigor. It possesses high winter hardiness and successfully withstands temperatures down to -40 °C.
The fruits have a mass of 80–90 g and an enlarged conical shape. The ground color is yellowish-white, almost completely covered by a dotted pinkish-red blush. The flesh is pinkish in color, of medium density, very juicy, with a sweet-and-sour taste. In Estonian conditions, the fruits can be stored until January.
