The variety is one of the oldest in Germany, with the first mentions dating back to 1561. The tree is characterized by vigorous growth, high longevity reaching over 100 years, and lack of demanding growing conditions, including difficult sites and high altitudes.
The fruits are medium-sized, round-flattened in shape, with a glossy waxy skin of pale yellow color and a reddish blush. The flesh is white, juicy, crisp, sweet, and possesses a specific cinnamon flavor. The variety shows high resistance to major diseases such as scab, powdery mildew, and canker.
