The fruits are small in size, with smooth golden-yellow skin, sometimes with an orange blush. The flesh is white or pale yellow, juicy and tender, and possesses a sweet or sweet-sour taste with a characteristic aroma. The apples ripen from the end of August through September and are consumed in September–October, sometimes until November.
The tree is of medium or small size, characterized by healthy growth and is suitable for forming low-stem trees. The variety is resistant to diseases, particularly to scab, and is recognized as reliable for amateur gardening. In some collections, confusion with morphologically similar varieties is possible.
