Upon ripening, the fruits acquire a yellow color with an orange or red blush. The flesh is cream-colored, distinguished by juiciness and a crisp texture, with a tart taste. A characteristic morphological feature is pronounced bumps at the calyx, which can extend along the sides of the fruit toward the stalk.
The variety is late-autumn or winter, with harvesting taking place at the end of October. It is used primarily as a culinary variety for preparing sauces and purees, but is also suitable for fresh consumption. Currently, the variety is preserved in genetic collections as an object of historical heritage.
