Trees of the variety are vigorous, with a branched and upright crown. Fruits have a spherical, often flattened shape; the skin is colored greenish-yellow with a red blush and characteristic whitish speckles. The flesh is dense and juicy, distinguished by a very sweet taste with low acidity and a floral aroma with notes of vanilla and anise.

A feature of the fruits is the presence of areas of natural sugar crystallization within the flesh, called "vitrified". The harvest is collected from the end of October through November. The variety is adapted to a continental climate with cold winters and is valued for its resistance to climatic changes and ability to keep until spring.
