The tree has a weak to moderate growth vigor and belongs to the semi-spur type. The variety is early-coloring, and the harvest time usually precedes that of the Golden Delicious variety.

The fruits have the elongated conical or truncated-conical shape characteristic of the Red Delicious group and a uniform bright red color. The fruit flesh is firm and juicy, although it may acquire a mealy consistency during long-term storage. The variety is intended primarily for fresh consumption.
