Fruits reach harvest maturity in late September — early October, the consumption period lasts from October or November to January. The apples are very large, over 10 cm wide, having a broad, often irregular ribbed shape. At harvest, the ground color is dull yellow-green, turning olive-yellow upon ripening; the overcolor is dark red, diffused.
Trees of the variety are undemanding to soil and climatic conditions and are characterized by resistance to diseases. A tendency for fruits to drop during strong winds is noted due to their high windage, therefore planting in exposed areas is not recommended. The variety is represented by old high-growing specimens.
