The variety is the result of multiple crossings involving the Jonathan, Rome Beauty, Starking, Golden Delicious varieties and the wild species Malus floribunda 821. The tree is medium-sized, the height depends on the rootstock used.

The variety is immune to scab and possesses high resistance to powdery mildew. The fruits are medium to large in size, weighing 140–180 g, and are round or round-cylindrical in shape.

The flesh is creamy, firm, juicy, with a sweet-and-sour taste and aroma. The fruits ripen in late September — early October, reach consumer maturity by January, and are distinguished by good keeping quality and transportability.
