The tree grows vigorously in its youth, reaching a height of about 4 meters at maturity. The crown is dense, of an obovate shape, with main branches diverging at an angle of 45 degrees. The fruits are medium to above-average in size (90–140 g) and have a broad-conical truncated shape. The skin is golden-yellow with a brick-red overcolor, often greasy to the touch.

The variety belongs to the autumn group; harvest maturity of the fruits occurs in early September. The flesh is yellowish, firm, fine-grained, with a sweet-and-sour taste featuring spicy and nutty notes. The tree enters into bearing in the 4th–6th year; productivity is abundant and regular. The fruits are used fresh, in cooking, and for cider production.

The variety is not self-fertile and requires pollinators such as «Alkmene», «Roter Berlepsch», «Cox Orange» or «Klarapfel». The plant does not tolerate dry and poor soils well and requires regular fertilization. It is characterized by susceptibility to scab, powdery mildew, and fruit tree canker, which necessitates a professional approach to protection.

The fruits hold firmly to the branches, however, if harvesting is delayed or there is a shortage of irrigation, they are prone to mass shedding. If the yield is excessive, the tree becomes exhausted, which can lead to its premature aging.
