In agronomic sources, the name Goldrenette acts as a synonymous designation for a number of varieties in the «Renet» group. In official lists, the variety Harberts Renette often appears under this designation. This name is also frequently applied to the English variety Goldrenette aus Blenheim.

The Goldrenette aus Blenheim variety is a vigorous tree with a large, wide, and densely branched crown, reaching 5 meters or more. The variety is late-maturing: harvesting is carried out from the end of September to mid-October, and the fruit consumption period is from November to March.

The fruits of this variety are large or very large, flat-round, and often asymmetrical. The skin is dry, yellow-orange with reddish marbling. The flesh is yellowish-white, juicy, with a wine-spicy nutty flavor. The variety has moderate resistance to scab and powdery mildew, and is sensitive to bark diseases and fruit rot.
