The variety has medium-sized, flat-round fruits with yellowish-green skin and a characteristic faded reddish-brown blush. Historically, the variety became widespread in German-speaking regions as early as the late 18th century.

The fruits are used as a table and culinary product. The variety is characterized by good resistance to biotic and abiotic stress factors and is currently classified as a rare heirloom variety.
