The tree is vigorous, forms a robust crown, and is long-lived. The variety is triploid, therefore it is a poor pollinator for other varieties. It is characterized by high yield, but with a tendency towards biennial bearing.

Fruits are small to medium in size, ranging from globular to conical in shape, weighing about 110 g. The skin is smooth, greenish-yellow with a red blush. The flesh is light yellow, firm, coarse-fibered, and juicy. The taste at harvest is acidic, becoming sweet-and-sour during storage.

The variety is for processing use, primarily for juices, cider, and culinary purposes, as the flesh holds its shape well when baked. Fruits are harvested in October; consumption is possible from January until summer. Fruits hold firmly to the branches and are not prone to dropping.
