The variety is a winter type; fruit consumer maturity occurs in the period from November to January. The tree is vigorous, reaching a height of about 5 meters; the crown acquires a narrow, upright shape with age. The variety shows low susceptibility to scab and powdery mildew, and prefers warm, sunny, and sheltered locations.

The fruits are large, colored from greenish-yellow to lemon-yellow, sometimes with a slight brownish-red blush. The flesh is yellowish-white, firm, juicy, and has a balanced sweet-and-sour taste and aroma. The variety blooms late and requires cross-pollination with other apple varieties.
