The variety is diploid (2N). In scientific studies dedicated to metabolic and sensory profiling of apple juices, the presence of S-alleles S3 and S20 was established.

In the literature, the variety is mentioned during the evaluation of product quality from old apple trees. The fruits are distinguished by a high polyphenol content, and the juice obtained from them has a pronounced bitter taste.
