The variety is an accidental seedling discovered in the 1980s in the village of Jakkula, Finland. The tree is characterized as healthy and highly productive, yielding an abundant harvest annually. It possesses good winter hardiness, suitable for climatic zones I–IV in Finland, and resistance to fruit rot and scab.

The fruits are medium to large in size, weighing up to 300 g, and have a characteristic conical pear-like shape. The flesh is tender and juicy, with a mild sweet honey aroma; the seed chamber is small. The harvest matures in October, and the fruits are capable of remaining on the branches for a long time and store well.

The variety is intended for fresh consumption as well as for processing, in particular, for the preparation of juice, which is distinguished by its high taste qualities.
