The variety is a weakly growing tree with a compact crown that becomes broad with age. The fruits are slightly less than medium or medium in size, round and tall in shape, covered with thin, shiny, greasy-to-the-touch skin. The fruit color is yellow-green with pink or red stripes; the flesh is loose, juicy, with a wine-like bittersweet taste.

The variety belongs to the summer group; fruit ripening is often uneven, requiring multiple harvests. The tree begins bearing fruit early, and yields are regular. The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness, but shows high susceptibility to European apple canker.
