The tree is vigorous, reaching a height of 2.5 to 5 meters. The crown shape in young plants is broadly pyramidal, becoming more spreading and loose over time. The variety is triploid and is not suitable as a pollinator for other apple trees.
The variety is demanding regarding soil and air humidity levels; in arid conditions, tree development slows down, and susceptibility to powdery mildew increases. Fruits reach harvest maturity in September, and consumer maturity from November to March-April.
The fruits have an irregular shape with pronounced ribbing; the skin is smooth and may become greasy during storage. The flesh is greenish-white with a sweet-and-sour taste. The primary use is culinary processing, particularly for baking and making mousses; the fruits are also suitable for fresh consumption after storage.
