The tree is characterized by slow growth and forms a wide, flat-rounded crown. The variety successfully adapts to clay and sandy soils. The fruits are prone to dropping in strong winds, therefore requiring planting in sheltered areas. Yield is high, however, there is a tendency toward biennial bearing.
The fruits are medium-small to medium in size, regular in shape, and have a firm, smooth skin that becomes yellow upon ripening, sometimes with a red blush. The flesh is bright yellow, juicy, and sweet. Harvesting begins in August–September; the fruits overripen quickly and lose their quality.
The variety is resistant to scab and powdery mildew, but is highly sensitive to fruit rot of the Gloeosporium species. It is used as a table cultivar, as well as for the production of juices, cider, jams, and canning.
