Variety description

The variety is a winter type, ripening approximately 10 days before the Golden Delicious variety. The tree has a medium-sized, semi-spur growth habit and is characterized by compactness. Depending on the rootstock selected, the plant height can vary from 2.5 to 3 meters.

The fruits are large, weighing up to 350 g, and possess an elongated-round or truncated-conical shape. The overcolor is intense, dark red, almost burgundy, often with the presence of a pruinose bloom. The flesh is creamy in shade, crisp and juicy, with a sweet taste and minimal acid content.

The variety is sensitive to scab and European apple canker. It is distinguished by good keeping quality: under normal storage conditions, the fruits retain their quality until February, and in controlled atmosphere conditions, until June. Intended for intensive orcharding and transportation.
