The tree is vigorous, with a dense crown, characterized by high productivity and a tendency toward alternate bearing. The variety has a late-winter maturity group; the harvest is gathered approximately three weeks after the Delicious variety.

The fruits are large, reaching 75–85 mm in diameter, and have a round-conical shape. The skin of the fruits is 70–100% covered with a red blush. The flesh is light yellow, very firm, and has a mildly acidic taste.

The variety possesses moderate resistance to powdery mildew and fire blight. The primary purpose is industrial culinary processing, in particular, use for canning and slicing.
