The Canadian Jubilee variety was obtained by crossing McIntosh and Grimes Golden. The tree is vigorous, spreading, and fruits on spurs. The fruits are medium to large, round or round-conical, and often ribbed. The skin is smooth, yellow with a red blush and white lenticels. The flesh is creamy, firm, juicy, and sweet-tart.

The French variety Delbard Jubilée is mid-late, with fruits of a bright ruby color. The tree is medium-sized with a sparse crown. It is characterized by early bearing, high yield, winter hardiness, and drought tolerance. The British Royal Jubilee variety is used primarily for culinary purposes and blooms late, which increases resistance to spring frosts.
