The JTE G rootstock belongs to the group of very weak-growing rootstocks, demonstrating one of the lowest vigor indicators among the tested samples along with M-27 and P-16. During trials, it exhibited high productivity, ensuring a good yield index for grafted varieties.

An important characteristic of the rootstock is its low sensitivity to the formation of root suckers. JTE G is used to manage growth and increase tree efficiency in intensive orchards, being classified as a small-stature rootstock type in the series from Těchobuzice.
