The tree has moderate vigor and a spreading crown. The variety is a triploid, does not produce viable pollen, and requires the presence of two pollinator varieties. It is prone to biennial bearing and fruit drop before harvest.
The fruits are medium to large in size, conical and often irregular in shape. The skin is greenish-yellow with an orange-red blush, stripes, and pronounced russeting; it can be rough to the touch. The flesh is firm, crisp, juicy, and yellowish in color.
The variety is intended for fresh consumption, as well as for processing into juice, cider, and for use in cooking. The fruits retain their marketable qualities for up to 4 months in a refrigerator. The plant is susceptible to scab, canker, and powdery mildew.
