The tree is medium-sized, forming a broad-rounded crown with strong branches and a tendency to form pendulous shoots. Fruits are medium-sized, round or slightly asymmetrical. At harvest, the skin is greenish-yellow, turning golden-yellow during storage; a slight blush is possible; numerous light or russet lenticels are characteristic.

The flesh is yellowish-white, firm, juicy, and fine-grained. The taste is wine-sweet and spicy; the variety is considered universal for fresh consumption and processing. Fruits are harvested in October; the consumption period lasts from November to March. The tree is winter-hardy, but has medium susceptibility to scab and canker; it requires rich soils and regular pruning.
