The tree grows moderately to vigorously, forming a large, high-pyramidal or spherical crown. Fruiting begins 5–7 years after planting; yields are abundant but prone to biennial bearing. The variety is self-sterile and requires the presence of pollinators in the orchard.

The fruits are medium-sized and flat-round in shape. The skin is thick and rough, covered in gray-brown or bronze russeting. The flesh is whitish-yellow, juicy and firm, and prone to rapid browning when cut. Fruits require rooms with high humidity during storage due to a tendency to shrivel.

The variety ripens in October, reaching consumer maturity by December, and can be stored until March. The tree possesses high frost resistance, is moderately resistant to scab, but is susceptible to powdery mildew and canker in waterlogged soils. The crop is suitable for fresh consumption, drying, and processing.
