The tree is characterized by very vigorous growth and can live up to 200 years. Fruiting begins 3–7 years after planting; yields can be biennial. The variety requires regular pruning due to a tendency toward strong branching. It possesses good winter hardiness and disease resistance.

The fruits are medium-sized, have a flat-round shape and a firm skin, which changes color from green to straw-yellow upon ripening, sometimes with a pink blush. The flesh is white, juicy, very sweet, and low in acid. The fruits ripen in mid-September, are prone to premature dropping, and are easily damaged during storage.
