The tree is vigorous and forms a powerful, widely spreading crown. The fruits are of medium size, spherical, sometimes flattened or slightly elongated in shape, often with noticeable pentagonal ribs. The skin is green, fully or partially covered with brown russeting with light lenticels. The fruit flesh is white or greenish, loose and juicy.

The variety is an autumn one, the consumption period of the fruits lasts from October to December. The plant is characterized by winter hardiness, early and abundant fruiting, and blooms in mid-early periods. Resistance to powdery mildew is average; in unfavorable years, susceptibility to scab is possible. Suitable pollinators include the varieties Baumanns Renette, Boiken, Cox's Orange Pippin, Croncels, King of the Pippins, and White Transparent.
