The variety is a summer type; fruits ripen in August and are suitable for fresh consumption for two months. The tree is characterized as low-growing, having an upright spreading crown and a spur-type fruiting habit. The variety exhibits a tendency toward biennial bearing and is self-infertile.

The fruits are medium-sized, round-conical, and sometimes ribbed in shape. The skin is greenish-yellow with a pink blush and red stripes. The fruit flesh is white, soft, dry, and very sweet. The variety is used in breeding as a genetic source of resistance.
