Fruits are medium to above-medium in size, round or round-conical in shape, with an almost solid dark red color. The flesh is yellowish, often with red streaks, and the taste is rated as pleasant.

The tree is demanding regarding the level of agricultural practices and is prone to biennial bearing. The variety is self-incompatible and requires pollinator varieties. Frost resistance is rated as satisfactory for the middle zone, down to -33°C.

In breeding, the variety has gained significance as an important source for creating adapted varieties; in particular, it was involved in the development of Belarusian apple varieties.
