The tree is medium-sized, forming an attractive, often inclined or wide-spreading crown 6–8 meters in height and 4–6 meters in width. The medium-sized fruits have a greenish-yellow skin, which becomes golden-yellow with an orange-red overcolor upon ripening.

The flesh is yellowish-white, moderately juicy, and fine-grained. The fruits reach harvest maturity in September to early October, and consumption maturity from December to January. The variety is intended for fresh consumption and culinary use, and is noted for its adaptability to various conditions, including high-mountain zones.

Yield is medium, with biennial bearing. The variety is not prone to mass pre-harvest fruit drop and has low to medium susceptibility to scab.
