The Yellow Bellflower variety originated as a seedling in the late 18th century in New Jersey, USA. The tree is characterized by moderately strong growth and a spreading crown with a tendency for the branches to droop. The variety prefers warm, well-drained soils and shows a tendency toward biennial bearing.

Fruits are large or very large, often ribbed. The flesh is yellowish, fine-grained, firm, and juicy. Consumer maturity occurs in the winter period, from November to February. The variety is used as a dessert apple and is suitable for culinary purposes and cider production. In terms of care, the tree requires primarily thinning pruning.
