The variety is a hybrid obtained as a result of breeding red-fleshed forms and disease-resistant varieties. The plant's genealogy includes breeding number Re 830 from the Weirouge series.

The fruit ripens early; in some climatic conditions, harvesting occurs in early August. Due to the early ripening dates, the fruit has a limited shelf life of about 14 days. The variety is intended for fresh consumption and possesses genetic resistance to apple scab.
