The variety is the result of crossing Weirouge and Series Re. The fruits are large, aromatic, with red flesh, ripening in late September to early October. When stored, they retain their properties until February.

The plant possesses high resistance to scab and powdery mildew. The fruits are characterized by a high sugar content and antioxidant properties, and are suitable for fresh consumption and processing into juice.
