The variety belongs to the red-fleshed apple group and is intended for fresh consumption and culinary use. It is part of the Redlove® series, obtained by crossing varieties with colored flesh and forms possessing disease resistance.

The plant is a diploid variety. One of the key characteristics is genetic resistance to major diseases, particularly to scab.
