The tree is characterized by weak growth and a slender habit; it is a reliable annual producer of crops. The variety enters the flowering period early, which may make it sensitive to late spring frosts. In humid climate conditions, the tree may show susceptibility to canker.

The fruits are small to medium in size, round or slightly conical in shape. The skin is often covered with a blush, stripes, and characteristic russeting; it may become greasy during storage. The flesh is yellowish, firm, very aromatic, with a rich sweet taste and musky notes. The variety is suitable for fresh consumption from November to February.
